Default Maximal Solid Motor Mounts

Awesome buy! $125 shipped for front/rear. They were shipped in like 2 days and came in a nicely wrapped box. They are painted black and they are definately solid. I have raised my idle to 1100 so the vibration is much less noticeable. With high load and low RPMS (~2K), theres a slight vibration from the car as the drivetrain is straining. Just cruising around, you can't feel/hear anything or at least I cannot.

You 100% can feel it at idle but it's not anything that I would say is a problem. I actually enjoy it as I can feel the car rumble a bit. For a person that wants a complete stock feeling/sounding car, this might not be a mod for you. It is in no way an annoying thing IMHO but just a slight vibration. That's about the best I can explain it.

Definately an awesome product at a great price.

yeah around 2000-2300 RPM was the worst spot for me. That and taking off from a very slow stop, as if in parking lots.

They were of VERY high quality and shipping was very fast.

I've got all four mounts from Terry and they are SUPERB.

I don't notice the vibration. When I first put them on my car it kinda freaked me out because I was used to the smooth feeling of the stock rubber mounts. After a couple weeks I didn't even notice it anymore. Still got my idle set at 650rpm, and no complaints. Reminds me of my old muscle car.

Added plus: you feel any and every hiccup, misfire, stutter and ping from the engine right in your bones. You can actually *feel* even the most *minor* spark blowout.

Best mounts available, at the best price around.

How the hell you know you don't have other issues from the slight vibrations? I often wonder if I have an alignment issue due to the slight vibration I sometimes feel. Again, it's not an issue. I actually like the feeling but it's... "different"?

At first you don't necessarily know what's wrong - just that something is a bit 'off'. As you troubleshoot, you learn what each little vibration relates to. Things you'd never feel with stock rubber mounts.

It's like listening to a symphony - you may not know every individual instrument at first, but as you listen, and each section drops in and out, you learn what sound comes from which instrument...except it's an engine, and it's vibrations, not sounds.

It's a fun learning process.

Sounds are the keys to flaws sometimes....I hardly notice the vibration anymore, but I do notice my engine not bouncing around, great product Terry.

i just put these in my car around october and i felt all the slight vibarations at certain rpms, after i took the stock ones out i realized that 2 of the mounts were bad, i put in the solids and it drives easier, and revs easier. Overall 100% no complaints, without a doubt love the feel, these r awesome and the price is perfect......
