I really dont consider it an issue at all. Its one of those things that you notice when you have a great product and you need to start nit picking.
If you are planning on buying a set DO IT, dont let that stop you, its a total NON issue.

Not sure if you're the one who e-mailed me on the water thing a couple weeks ago or not but that is the first i've heard of it the years I've been making them. Since then I started drilling a hole in them to allow them to drain out.

If you put a block of wood between the jack and the oil pan the wood will take all of the stress and you wont end up denting the oil pan. I've done it several times without a dented oil pan.
Just don't go putting metal on metal because you're bound for a oil starvation problem! |

kinda worried, i got a set from a fellow FL3S member, and i installed the driver and tranny to begin with, because i wasnt planning on removing precats/turbos to do front and rear mounts...
first thing i noticed was the immense vibration, which i love compared to blown-out stock mounts (on a VR4), which is exactly like you guys are talking about, a muscle car.... anyways, the stock bad mounts caused other problems... but my concern is under load i can hear transmission, from the cabin, it sounds like a supercharger when i punch it, but theres no noticable sound under deceleration, only under acceleration, has anybody had this issue? or is it something in the transmission/transfercase i should check? |
