We placed a wire (with eyelet terminals) from the corner of each cover (you'll see that the cover has 4 screws) to a good chassis ground. (For the headlights, it was a screw under the fender well. For the fogs, we used a self-tapping screw and went directly into the frame right behind where the fogs sit.
What was thought to be "plug and play" turned out to be a bit more.... Bob.
