I hope that the minor flaws of unfinished fiberglass on the bottom of the hood aren't the rationale for stalking deft repeatedly. (as discussed in other thread) although it is good to see the pics of the hood. The small amount of work required to finish this out and repaint it is minimal.

I still like the 575 hood's looks better than Cianci, even if C's hood is prettier underneath.

trust me. it will take more than minimal amounts of work to get that finish smooth. i havent seen the top of his FG hood as shipped but cjbyron said it was horrible when he got his.

I think that must have been an early 575 hood. I will try and get some pics of the underside of mine it is unfinished and just the raw black gel coat (I have the CF version on my car) but it is as smooth as a babies bottom and looks pretty damn good with a couple of coats of wax on it, you would almost think it was painted black.
