I purchased a Y-Pipe similar to that and encountered the same problems, with it blowing off at high boost. The biggest problem was the cheap single layer hose and cheap clamps that were included (which you can never get very tight). I purchased some high quality reinforced hose and some T-bolt clamps. That seems to have solved the problem.

I have been using one for a while now. The T bolt clamps do the trick, I have never had mine blow off even under heavy boost. They are a lot better than the ones built by DNperformance. He manufactured many with holes and as bad of welds if not worse than these and his were 4x as heavy. I think for the $50 these are great, just spend another $3 for a good T-hose clamp instead of the $.95 ones.

Yeah, fuck them worthless stainless worm gear clamps, I only use them on small hoses. T-bolts are the only way to go IMO.

I agree, the ends to need to be flared

Most any muffler shop should be able to do it or someone with a tool for rolling steel/aluminum. I wouldnt worry about it though unless you are running 17lbs or more boost. I run 15lbs (when it's boosting right ) and have not had it blow off yet with T clamps.
