Ebay Y-pipe (Bomz Racing) - 3000GT/Stealth International Message Center

The y-pipe I bought is already warping and blowing off. It wont stay on even when I used the clamp included AND another clamp that was not included with the kit. The BOV hole is in a bad spot and interfers with other items in the stock engine. Since it popped off, the y-pipe is now scratched up. WTF!

I'm fairly certain this is the same POS chrome y-pipe that was on my Stealth when I bought it. Thing was worthless, came off everyother second. Definatley a waste of money, luckily I bought it with the stock y-pipe instead. Looks good but thats it.

just buy a tennis ball at your local sports store and stick it aside the y pipe...provided you don't care how it looks...

There is no room for a tennis ball to fit anywhere. It blows off, but the only way for it to go is up. I can barely get it to fit in place. The design is terrible. The BOV flange is too low that it too 15 min to get the BOV hose on. Now it wont go on since it bent. It must have bent from being blown off. The cupler is too large, the clamps are too weak, and the y-pipe itself is too wide to fit properly.

i heard if you flare the ends, it won't blow off as easily. also, if you buy one of those monster clamps, that should help.

The whole idea of an aftermarket ypipe is so you don't have to need the tennis ball.

I hate my tennis ball on my stock ypipe...grrrr.
