Default e2kmfg fuel pressure gauge adapter install

This is a really quick and easy solution for all of us who need to add on a fuel pressure gauge.

This is a quality little piece, construction is second to none. Mine came with the black face 100psi autometer gauge.

Bob was kind enough to have assembled the adapter, fitting, and gauge already complete with sealant

its hard to tell in this picture but the fitting has been trimmed on the inside so as not to impede flow I believe

Here you can see the adapter fitted to the fuel rail. It came with an o-ring to seal to the rail as well as longer bolts and some lock washers so that you have everything you need. You will also note my AEM fpr mounted via the RobBeck adapter

Here is the complete assembly: rails, injectors, gauge, and fpr. Installing this all was way easier than it should have been given that I am reassembling the entire engine.

Here are two photos of the plenum back in place showing how nicely everything comes together

Bob's fuel pressure gauge adapter coupled with Rob's FPR adapter make for one slick little budget minded fuel system that really looks great and fits well. Both pieces were fabulous, but the focus of this "write up" is e2kmfg's gauge/adapter combo which makes it a snap to "get yo measurements on".

Even with everything assembled this install would only have taken a few minutes to complete.

I did not have to clearance one thing with a file during this whole install, and everything looks like it belongs

Sincerely,

-deathsled

you will find that the oem line will not mount up the small bracket about where the filler neck is...a small price to pay for total fuel management...the unit will be fine without the little sheet metal mount.

Awesome. This looks great... !!

Glad to see this FP Gauge adapter being made, I get alot of questions about what do to with the AEM FPR (because it doesnt have the NPT port to monitor pressure). This definitely is a very trick and clean cut setup.... I am linking this to my thread now.

Is there a way to connect an aftermarket gauge like GREddy to this. I *NEED* to see fuel pressure in the cockpit.

Default Re: e2kmfg fuel pressure gauge adapter install

Special thanks going out to Bob, Rob, and Deathsled for letting me know about this.
I ordered all the necessary parts and installed this system in my car about 2 months ago.

I always knew my fuel pressure was high at idle to 1500 rpm with the HKS hi flow fuel pump hot wired as my datalogs showed pig rich O2 readings in this range.
I even got the once-in-a-blue-moon bogging while taking off in 1st gear.
I suspect this was because my fuel pressure was peaking around 55psi @ 0 vacuum
as others have reported with the factory FPR & similar mods, resulting in a
drowning of fuel for the motor.

After installing the AEM FPR along with Bob & Rob's kit, I can honestly say that
my ride is definitely more smoother taking off in 1st, idle isn't as "lumpy",
& is smoother between gear shifts.
Wide open throttle never really was a problem before, so this hasn't changed.

Kudos and a big thumbs up for an economical & solid fuel pressure solution that really
performs!!! Like Deathsled, I strongly advise anyone looking at a fuel pressure upgrade to consider buying from Bob and Rob.
