It would be illegal since it's not DOT-approved, but otherwise lexan is very clear. It does scratch easily and needs to be coated with a protective film.

Unless you are being hardcore serious about shaving a few lbs then this is just way to expensive for you. You honest to god can lose those 20 lbs some other way, maybe simply by gutting the interior.
