This has been around for a while now. I hope you're not looking to get this to save weight. Most of the weight is in the glass. Just a fyi.

carbon hatch will save you 18.04 lbs
lexan will save you 12.1 lbs
rear wiper delete will save you 6.6 lbs

I HIGHLY doubt the CF hatch saves 18lbs. The stock hatch weighs next to nothing with no glass in it.

Stock hatch weighs 38 lbs completely stripped. I just shipped one to CA. Weighed before it was put in packing.

And if your going to get something in carbon fiber buy it legit or you'll regret it in the end.

Im not trying to plug a shop here just think about the fact that no companies here in the states makes a hatch for our car execpt on ebay... and who on this site has one of their hatchs???

Only thing you can do is get IN WRITING a gaurenteed fitment statement(aka it dont fit you get your money back, if they back out you sue) or buy from the legit company, and wait the 2-4 months for it to come in, and also pay around $25-3500 just to let you know

Somebody had one at NG. He ran good times but I don’t know how much it helped him.

I am pretty sure it was Luke (NeverenoughHP), but I think he has a fiberglass one and lexan in it.

his was carbon with lexan. fitment wasn't perfect (the sides were a bit higher than the taillight covers).

if you do decide to get it, i would recommend using body latches to the rear fenders.
