3SX Stainless-Steel Braided Brake Lines

I've been running a set of Goodridge SS brake lines for over 6 years and 78K miles. (But I think they me be the other ones that appear on 3SX's site and not the ones you're looking at). I live in Michigan and drive the car every day. The lines still look and work great.

That being said, it is possible for them to rust. However, I have yet to hear of a set of lines to fail because of this.

But also keep in mind, the conditions, and climate that your vehicle is in. There are guys that have been running these lines for years, and never had any issues with rust. On the flip side, go to a place like Michigan for example, its very possible for the fittings to rust, due to water and salt on the roads.

After talking with the manufacturer, my understanding is that it is possible for the fittings to rust, but no more than the rest of your vehicle's undercarriage would, pending the conditions.

Again, I haven't heard of anyone's lines failing because of rust. I can't really think of our lines failing for any reason that was manufacturer's defect.

They are a great upgrade, improve stopping power tremendously, and they don't look too shabby with the color options.

I agree they do work great but if you have to work on them and live in a "salted" area then if you dont plan on ever doing brake upgrades do the road then they are fine. I would hit the ends up with a little high heat paint and just live with it. I just wish I knew ahead of time so that i could paint them and then just grease them.
