3sx Active Aero Simulator - 3000GT/Stealth International Message Center

Got the product quickly but as far as the actual product goes...
It was nice to see my active aero work for the first time, even if it was for a day. Coming home from work that day the AERO light came on and the wing stopped working. Reset everything and the active aero would still would not work.

The active aero started working again on it's own the next day.....then quit working again the day after.

I pulled the box back out and checked the connections. BTW, I soldered the wires so it wasn't a loose wire or anything. Guess I got a faulty box. The instructions were meant for a car that still had the AA motor because the other connector's wire colors did not match the instructions....not that it was hard to figure out. I have a feeling it might start working on it's own again.

So overall the product sucks for being a tease. I'll contact 3SX and see what they can do for me.

Ive used one and it did the same thing to me.

The simulator is a solid state piece- 99.99% of the time it will not come and go. It also requires that your rear aero and its ECU are working correctly in order to work. Sounds like you have another issue. I would check the controller and its connectors first.

I got this as well just last month as installed it....nothing happened, although my aero light went out on the dash. I suspect the little switches are next to switch out at radio shack.

so 0 for 3 on these ? I tired everything to get mine to work. Had to return it

When you installed the front motor back on did it work then? It won't solve other problems.

Works a few times I have to remove the key and it will work a few more times . I cant say it worked with the motor in junk when I bought the car .

Mine started working today again. I'll see how long that goes. I would think if there was an issue with something else, it wouldn't work at all.

yes, I ended up pulling the tray and bar apart and leaving the motor plugged in and tucked it under the fusebox. Ive never gotten one to work.

For those who need wiring help on wire colors on other side of plug.
Here is some help of what color goes to what on a 93 VR4

Motor side Harness side
Blue Blue
Green/black Red
Black Green/Red
Red Black/Blue
Green/Red Black
