I have little experience in the field of Nitrous, but I have to say, cheap is not always better, and if you are worried about cost, don't bother with it. These cars can be cheap if you are nice to them, but they can really kick you in the ass if your not.
Just a suggestion.

You can run a dry kit safely but the extras add up quick. You should probably get an EGT gauge to make sure nothing is going wrong. You really need a window switch on top of it so you don't spray on the rev limiter.
Realistically if you were to find a decent used dry kit you'd still probably spend $800 or so after the accessories. |

speed cost money, how fast can you afford to go?
It is amazing, i beat the hell out of the SL and it runs like a champ...the day I drive it normal (i got a speeding ticket the day before) I spin a bearing...this WTF moment brought to you by...Mitsubushi. (My car drove faster than my guardian angel could fly) ![]() (the angel is starting to get worried as the car nears completion) ![]() |
