Really.....I mean Really????
Welcome to the board 3000gtls..... Rule #1 Search. Rule #2 Only post ONCE! Yes, it can be done. It's been done 1000's of times, and theres probly 1000's of people on here to help you. There's been 100's of write ups with pictures, and all. There's even some FWD's running faster than 90% of the AWDs. Check out the FWD section and the new members section.... We're all a big family here, but asking simple basic questions like this that've been answered and are comon knowledge before searching is a good way to get alot of negative responses from people..... Hope this helps. UPP

I wouldn't even throw out that idea. If a person doesn't know what is needed to twin turbo a car using stock parts then it is going to be the bane of their existence to go single turbo where everything will have to be custom made. Twin turbo is perfectly fine. You will make some insane power. Going single turbo is a headache and an expensive one at that. I would not recommend going straight to single turbo unless you have (all of this):
1) done LOADS (150+ hrs) of research 2) you either can custom make stuff yourself or get it done on the cheap 3) have loads of experience 4) have loads of cash Whatever course of action you take, don't skimp out. Make sure you get everything you need and make sure everything is in good working order. Also make sure that you can properly tune your setup because there is no quicker way to disaster than using busted up parts and running around without a solid tune. For your info, their are loads of threads dedicated to your question. I would suggest that you start with looking at the thread in blue at the top of this sub forum entitle "the TT conversion Link Thread". It contains pretty much everything you need.

as previously stated go TT. the turbos are cheaper, and the overall process is easier, as parts do not have to be custom fabbed.
but more imprtantly. you need to make sure your car is ready for boost. 60k tuneup, compression check, clutch, drivetrain. it will do you no god to boost your car, and then the first day you drive it, blow a headgasket or something.
