Default turbo installation in 97 3kGT SOHC A/T

I have 97 3000gt 3.0l SOHC with A/T and wanna install a turbo on it. It has around 114k.. and I was wondering if I can do the used Eagle talon 14B turbo. However I am still looking for the options for the turbo and the installation procedures. I am also looking for the required modifications and upgrade for it... Any help will be appreciated.

Repost your question in the NA to forced induction area and you should get some hits on your question.

and the 14b turbo would be a horrible turbo for a 3.0 liter engine.

yeah, the t3/t4 turbo would work better, and you will have to either make or have custom manifolds made

actually, they are all too small. they are to small for a 2 liter, why would you put it on a 3 liter?

if you want a 14b, you need two. anything smaller than a gt2871 and you absolutely need two. that is the smallest I would go for a single turbo on a sohc, but even then it would be stupid.

Yeah it is in a way, but since the sohc doesnt have any knock sensors, and he probably hasnt got any system to tune it with he probably wont running more than 4 psi. so even a small turbho like that would be ok to start with. he will just have to get the right flange and have the manifolds fabbed up
