Up and running. It is pretty quick at 7psi. Got a couple electrical issues to work through and now the tranny acting up a little. I sold all my other cars and bought a minivan for Jenny so I had to rush the Panda back together so I had something to drive. Now it's my DD haha.

Things are crazy at the shop getting ready for NG so after that I'll get the boost turned up and put it on the dyno and track it

It's pretty darn quick on WG pressure (7psi)
I am impressed. Fucker built the motor with all used parts, hell the pistons have used rings on it and not from the engine they are in. But she is purring like a kitten and no smoke.

Great work as usual maTT!

thanks

OK, issues that I need to look into.

- Car will not start with the key. Right now I have it wired to a push button start. Everyone loves it but it's ghetto so I'm going to fix it.

-Tach does not work

-Noisy pulley (used an old rusted one I found in the trash)

-Needs more boost (Chris is going to make me a boost controller)

-Tranny does not shift well. I'm swapping out the valve body soon.

-Very slow battery drain

I think all the electrical issues are a result of the SOHC-DOHC swap. I just need to spend some time and trace them down.

Grats. Are you running two o2 sensors? Stock TT fuel pump? Hotwired pump? How are you doing on fuel? My car has been running pretty lean and knocking under boost at 6 psi and I'm trying to find out if anyone else has these problems.

Right now the mods are this:

walbro pump (not hotwired)
air filter
downpipe
dsm bov

Everything else is stock TT parts. I'm running one o2 sensor. 93 pump plus a little 87 that was left in the tank from before the conversion. Zero knock.

I put a boost gauge in it tonight and it is reading 6psi. The tranny does not slip but it is a bit confused as to when it needs to shift. After I get that straightened out I will up the boost and put it on the dyno.

Tonight on the way home from work it churped the tires on the 1-2 shift haha.
