im looking at doing a full tt swap into my 92 sl because my motor is going and i have a chance to get the tt parts really cheap. would it be necessary to swap the engine harness? or just the ecu and gauge cluster?
no need to swap the cluster, just the ecu is fine. (I am running on all original harness on my 92)
Just to clear this question, for the caboose as much as anything, you did at least wire in resistors correct?
Or did you go with larger high impedance injectors instead of the stock vr4 injectors?
Just curious.
I am also actually running my 92 sl harness on my fwdtt conversion.
I wired/spliced in the stock resistor pack though
well i have access to all the parts i need, the only thing i might need would be a passenger SMIC and maybe a bell housing for the tranny, so if it would be easier with swapping the harness and it isnt hard to swap at all ill do that, im lookin for help i want this to be done good
