Who built the current motor? What headgaskets were used? It's unusual for a MLS headgasket to blow under 30psi.

Honestly. It's been 2 years and $10,000 for me. That's not including fixing my '92 SL that I had before this one. These are the worst cars to try and make fast/reliable on a budget.

I feel your pain Im 20 and a student, and I thought a couple of times about giving up on my car, but I changed my mind, I love it to much. And even if I couldnt get it fixed I just wait and wait and wait till I can get it fixed lol. Knowing one day it will be done, I have spent to much money and time just to sell it. I would think you feel the same way

dont give up on it man!!! if you sell it you never know what will happen to it. if you have to park it, then just park it and get a gas saver to DD. my stealth was only a sohc, and my gsx is a hell of alot faster, but i hate that i got rid of the stealth

Hey, sorry to hear it. I'm actually in the same boat. This car has put me through a lot, especially since I turbo-ed it. Now, it seems like it can't stop leaking oil. The guy at the shop said that my car will always leak oil because of the extra pressure that the turbo puts on the engine. I've been thinking about selling it for a while, but this may be the last straw.

I'm thinking about getting another 3000GT later in life. Next time it'll be a VR-4 off the bat and no internal mods, heh.
