with all the horsepower at the front wheels would it matter? with a front wheel drive car? in your opinon which is better or cheaper..single big turbo or supercharger..because im not real interested in buying the twin turbo motor..becuase the turbos are small

Should have been more specific, its too much power for FWD, Little Traction. and all the kits i see are singe turbo.

As for your question The small turbos on a VR4 engine work great, despite the fact that they are small

On 3si, I keep hearing the the 6g72 both sohc and dohc ECU's have the hardest time with superchargers

Different story with turbos. That's probably why you NEVER see S/C 3000 or stealths. Same with supras, I have yet to see ONE s/c supra and I go on streetfire.net videos at least 3 times a week.
Rippmods makes a s/c for the dohc and used to for the sohc. Still having problems, i know on the sohc the guy (building and testing it; ldcarson) spent like a total of 7 or 8 grand to get the sohc running with the vortech on it. But holy **** did it sound good, rumble like a V8 at idle with its cams and head work

I recommend VR4 motor swap, but selling your SL and getting a VR4 would be about 9 times easier. OR BPU your SL and slap a 75 or 100 wet shot. The more modest, the safer your motor is. My dad would probably let me have a 75 shot if nitrous didnt have a rep for blowing motors up. Just gotta do it right.

Do you even know what a turbo does???

In any case, going twin turbo is much cheaper than supercharging or going single turbo... Another person can explain why...

I mean it IS a V motor, in which there is one head with three cylinders and another one with three cylinders....

One turbo for one side. Why one turbo for BOTH sides? It can make it more difficult.

Hey guys thought I would add my 2 cents since my car is SUPERCHARGED. I have my car about 1 year now and inittially got it supercharged at 6 psi. It ran great but I wanted it faster. I finally got the chance when I spun a bearing. I rebuilt the engine lowered compression from 10:1 to 9:1 running just about 10 pounds of boost from a root style eaton M90 superchager. I have since Upgraded to VR4 injectors and upgraded to a walbro 255 fuel pump. There might also be a few more mods I cant think of. To answer some of your questions, No, dont ever run turbos or a supercharger on a NA ECU, very bad the ECU will no compensate for boost therefore you will run lean and grenade your engine. No, with a supercharger you dont not have a very big traction problem you will if you rev your car up to 6000 rpm and drop the clutch, on launch you get some wheel hop but its not too bad if you get some good tires. since it is a supercharger you do get instant boost therefore your lower end tourque is phenomonal I accelerate 0-60 in just 5 sec. pretty fast for around 10 pounds and no spooling I love my supercharged 3k i have had it for a year and have driven twin turbo 3k and wouldn't trade for one either. at least not yet. I love my low end tourque tooooo much.

something i left out, my car in FWD to compensate for the boost i have an emanage blue that compensates by adding fuel where i need it when boosting works like a champ and have no problems with my engine idling and running hard, it does its job. If you have any questions you can PM me I would be more than happy to answer them
