Dapps,

Hey man. This is in reply to your PM. Maybe some others will have some insight....

Well first of all you will need all flanges etc which will be around $50 including wastegate flanges. Since it is an aftermarket turbo it is most likely not internally wastegated so you will need a $230 tial 38mm wastegate. Don't waste ur time on the ebay crap, their diaphragm can go out and leave ur car in a very dangerous situation quickly. Since you are doing a rear mount setup you are going to need ALOT of aluminum intercooler piping if you are going with an FMIC setup so if you go ebay, that is about $350 worth of piping and intercooler core. Then you have two choices, either get somebody to fab up the intercooler setup for you including welding (prob around $3-$400 in labor cuz you need to have a tig welder and the knowledge of how to weld aluminum), or try and use pre-cut bends and couplers ( about $150-200 in couplers and another $40 or so in t-bolt clamps). So far you are at about 1.1K in just extra parts. The turbo is going to be another $500+. You need stainless steel feed and return lines $120ish. Since your going with a rear mount setup, you will need to pump the oil leaving the turbo back into the oil pan so you will need an aftermarket pump for about $150. You will need the right fittings for that pump as well as some more line $60. So far about 2K.

You will need some stock TT parts such as an oil cooler and lines for about $70. You will probably want to get a TT ECU $200 and then some form of MAP setup to get rid of the MAF $400+. You will need gauges and a gauge pod $150+. New injectors and resistors $400+, new clutch $400, new fuel pump $100, probably want to go with some solid engine mounts $200ish. Right now you are over $3500 and you are just getting started. There are so many hidden costs that it is going to nickle and dime you to over $5K before you know it. I'm just trying to give you fair warning before you go this route that there are alot of hidden costs that can really come out and rear their ugly heads. Now you MAY be able to do this job for less than 5K but you MAY just be cutting corners and when you cut corners with F.I it usually comes back to kill you in the end. I hope this helps brother and good luck to whichever path you choose
