i want to put a single turbo on my car. im thinking a TD05 14B to help me in my low RPMs. has anyone done a single turbo? and has anyone ever did this turbo? please help. i have heard about having to modifying a eclipse exhaust manifold(flanges) with the 3000gt's. is it ok to do single on the 94 dohc?

A 14B will be way too small for a single turbo. Also just search for single turbo and you will find plenty of info. There are several running around now.

Big EVO 3 16g. Only get the MHI turbo's and make sure it is one, dont get a knock off. Will make some good boost with fast spooling.

dude, the search button is at the top...where it says "Home" "Forum" "Active Topics" etc. just do this: on your keyboard press ctrl+f then in the box, type "search" - without the quotes. your browser will highlight the search button. cluck it and search away.

No Im talking about the Big Evo 3. It has a different manifold so your going to have to get a flange and welld it onto the manifolds. Honestly its not worth it going single when you can get more power out of a twin setup cheaper and easier. That exhaust manifold is going to be a bitch to fab up with the cramped space in the engine bay. You'll max out the Big 16G a little above 400hp. You can accomplish that with the stock 9b's and simple mods. If you want more power out of a single setup you might have to go with a larger turbo than the 16g which is going to give you lag and then again you have to think of space in the engine bay. With the twins you'll retain power and fast spool up time.

I honestly think a single E3 16g will spool as quickly as 2 9b's...

You need a bigger turbo than a 16g though. you could always go with a single 20/25G or I would recommend something more like a GT35R if your going to go through the hassle of making/buying single turbo manifolds.
