Default problems with engine stalling... need help...

story on my car is it is a 1995 3000GT SL that started out an ATX. slapped some twins on it and afterwards ran great for a couple of months. i then swapped the tranny to a FWD 5spd and the car would run great, but it sometimes would stall if i reved her up to like 5000 rpms and cut off the throttle quickly either to brake or switch gears (which kind of sucked cause it would turn off the accessories and i would lose power steering and braking abruptly... talk about unsafe while moving...). the problem didn't happen that much and improved after putzing around with my emanage. i recently swapped my ECU for a 1GTT ECU and the first couple times i started the car it would rev up but then stall shortly after. i reset my emanage and then the car would start fine and idle around 700-800. however my problem now lies in the fact that when i give any throttle and then abruptly cut the throttle off, the car drops its RPMs all the way down and stalls. this not only happens when i brake or try to switch gears... but also happens if i'm just parked and rev the engine anywhere past 2500 RPMs. i have no idea why my car keeps stalling out like this. anyone have any ideas? thanks!
