they used these motors in the... ahh what was it again? i want to say legumn vr-4? 2.5L twin turbo...don't really remember but there is a mitsu motor like that.

But the question to ask is, why? why move to a smaller engine when the 6g72 has more displacement?

Uh, BULLSHIT.

Besides the 94 Cali Spec SL DOES NOT, have a TT ecu. It has a NA Cali Spec ECU.

The only 2.5 that is compatible is the 6g73 and its a 2.5 SOHC.

The 2.5 DOHC is a completely different line of engines and will not work in a 3s.

Next.

You can plug a TT ecu into a 94 Calispec though. So thats believable.

They would be

MD192588 TT

MD192590 NA

respectively.

They are almost the same and both have the 4 plugs for the ECU. But it does not COME with a TT ECU.

My 94 is set up that way

the engine was inexpensive at the time when i blow mine. and it made more horsepower and the high flow heads i thought would be better for the tt conversion. and it has a 9:1 compression
