go 9" or 9.5" if your REALLY worried about traction

stockers are only 8.5" and if I WANT too, I can spin those no problem

Tracks are not open yet. Not till mid to end Feb. So I have to say no. I never had a trans that would hold before with out braking and never had an LSD before. And never had launch control before. Our new set up rocks fairly hard and hooks up fine. There is a nice Honda SI local here and he runs high 13s consistant. He always wants to run. I always turn him down. A couple weeks ago got tired of him asking so we ran. It was fun I guess. But I don't think he will ask anymore. After 3 tries he gave up. I have no problem walking away from him in the first 3 gears. He gives up long before forth. LOL. But now my car is broke. I lost my Translater sunday on the way home from a meet. So time for a few more changes so I can dump the
3.5" GM maft. I am also selling my 1ST Gen GTO TT ECU If anyone is interested.
Good for anyone doing a TT convertion on a first gen for sure. Fully rebuilt by AVPro with life time warrenty.
Just so you know, 9Bs are too restrictive to run on my motor. LOL.

that guys didnt have an LSD or launch control and he had a lot more weight than you, he didnt break his trans either

9b's are not a restriction on your motor, there are 9b guys making lots more power than you lol

TMR i know exactly what you mean about just a little more power to hold those turbo hondas at bay lol,

safc2 with a TT ecu will work fine for tuning on stock turbos, even Ray's dr750 car is safc tuned... flashable is better if you want to pay for it and i love my flashable 99 but its not necessary

ARE YOU SAYING YOU KNOW HIS CAR? IS THIS WHAT YOU ARE TRYING TO SAY? HOW COOL!
I Doubt it. LOL. Penn is for sure a ways from Dallas. Your so funny.
But really does not matter at all. There is nothing I need to say.
The tracks will be open shortly and we will Just have to see.
AS far as 9b power. The turbos fall off so soon they could not keep up.
I know they will produce more power at lower RPM than I do. But they well do run out of air and the air they move becomes why to hot. Look at a few dyno charts, you'll see.
So 9 Bs will not be restrictive on YOUR motor, But are on mine.
And it's OK to assume I am full of shit if you like. Some do anyways. When you start pulling power trophies at every event like my silly NA does. People will take a much better look at what you have to say. This is not all that much, But we took 3rd place averall Dyno, and yes there was VR4's on table. So we got highest NA and 3rd best overall. I posted that dyno chart and you can see for your self how bad an AFR fluctuation we had. Now we know was a bad translater at the time we dynoed as Sunday it failed. Always something isan't it. 1 of these days I'll get a good dyno tune and a good run.

I wish to say sorry to the OP. This thread got off topic.
My point to you was My son and I never get tired of our NA power and you will be very close to us if not more.
The fun begins when you try to make changes to the rest of the car to get that new found power to the ground and in a manner that suites your driving style.
WE all have different needs and requirements. Turbos just are not on the board for our car. Our car is a test bed for NA parts only.
I know you will like it. And will for sure be a sleeper. Nothing more fun than to see a surprised LOOK on the persons face next to you in traffic as they fall away.

I want to do the conversion for experience and to keep hondas in line with the rest of the cars around here lol. I can keep most cars away from me but there is always one or 2 that i dont even try. but after tt i will try. and probably succeed. maybe not from a dig. but from a roll i will have them lol. plus working on my car is my only hobby besides work lol. so just to ATTEMPT to take my NA to the next level will be a joy in its own. i find less joy in selling it to be faster. IMO.

and GTW i do not think your full of shit lol. you and you alone have helped me more with my car than 3SI and autozone combined.

Love my fwd tt! Put in a new clutch yesterday. And I'm rebuilding the front end next weekend. I've got big plans for my girl. Learning carbon fiber right now,and I'm planning to replace every bit I can with it. Including the tub /cradle. Eventually I'll do the awd conversion, but that's a few years off.
