You can use a AFC to tune some of the fuel down if you want. You will be limited on the amount of fuel you can take out and will still be rich. I recommend using an e-manage or going 1st gen ECU. Even if you go with the 1st gen ECU you will still want a a/f controller of some sort.

And is an safc going to be ok/ good?
