UPDATE 14 - (7/2/07)

Sorry about that Aaron. I've been a little busy lately and haven't had as much time as I wanted to work on my car....when I did have the time, I was either to tired or too unmotivated to work lol. Yea I know it will be cool when it is done but yea right now it just sucks that I will have to take out a bunch of crap just to get to my problems. I've got to take out a bunch of IC hoses, spin the front turbo upside down to get at the fitting for the return line and just RTV the mess out of it....I've got to remove more IC hoses just to get at the rear turbo and since there is a stupid leak between it and the manifold. I will have to remove it alone with prob the whole exhaust just to get to it. I have to disconnect the hoses on the return lines to sleeve them with the second high temp heater hose so that they won't crack under the heat....I have to fix the fuel leak....then put everything back together again just so that I can then test for lovely boost leaks which I will prob have thousands of given my luck....Then tune.....it is right about now that I seriously just want to quit and pay somebody more experienced to do this crap for me....

I did fix the oil sender unit leaking problem. They ended up having a replacement part at dang Advance Auto. So I bought that, teflon taped it and screwed it back into my block....atleast one of my MANY problems are fixed I guess....man i need a vacation from this car lol.

Whoa!!! Don't get discouraged Mann. Pull the lines and fix the problems. It dosen't take that long to do. If I was you I would pull the radiator to fix the oil return line. It gives you a ton of room on the front. Pull the plenum to give you more room for the rear manifold. Take your time and plug away at it when you can. But you should be able to fix all the problems you listed in a day. Stop whining and get that bad ass car on the road ! You were bound to have these little problems with a conversion. Remember more power more problems-- NOW FIX THEM !!!!

Thanks for the encouragement and the kick in the rear. It is true that I was being a little whining pansy lol.

First off let me say Happy 4th of July to everybody!!!. Since I did not have to work today and or do anything else really, I decided to work on my car. My task list for today included two items:
1) "FIX ALL LEAKS!!!"
2) Sleeve the oil return lines.

Well since I already fixed the oil leak caused by the bad oil pressure sender, I decided to move onto the last oil leak coming from the bottom of the front turbo. I took out a few of the IC hoses and then loosened the ring band around the turbo. I disconnected the oil feed line and disconnected the return line at the oil pan (I left the fittings connected and just pulled off the return line hose. Then I removed the front compressor housing and cartridge from the exhaust housing of the Front turbo.

I RTV'd the mess out of the fitting and sleeved the oil return line with the second line of high temp heater hose. The first line was 5/8" Outside Diameter and the second was 1 1/4" OD. I got them from Advance Auto.

So yea now I have finished the Front turbo...and fixed all the oil leaks. I still have to sleeve the rear return line and finish making a gasket for between the rear turbo and exhaust manifold. After that and after putting everything back together then I will be done and can then test for boost leaks. After doing that, I will be able to start tuning my car. YAY!!! Almost there. I will get lots of pics and will keep y'all updated. Peace for now!!

MINI-UPDATE - (7/6/07)

Ok so here's the deal. I got my buddy z32_aaron to send me the gaskets and rings for the between the turbos and the manifolds. I am going to use the OEM stuff for both turbos. I am going to go back in and dismount the front turbo too and seal it up with the OE stuff just for peace of mine. He is going to try to like overnight it or something so that I can finish this project ASAP....Almost done. There isn't much work left to do after this.

On a lighter note, my new 18's arrived today at Discount Tire. YAY!!!! They look freakin SICK!!! I know y'all will be impressed when I put then on for my 21st (July 17th SON!!) Oh yea. I am still keeping them on the DL for right now just so I can ensure that I will be the first to run them on a 3/S. Well I am out for now but just wanted to give y'all a little mini update

You're working through the bug stage well Alec. Because, well that stage sucks.
