Why thank you, now on to the albino grasshopper!

The red wires go to the SRS computer. Learn something new everyday.
EDIT: the pic should say "center console" not "glove box".

And now for the beautiful.

That was it for this weekend, I spent today with Tiffany and tomorrow I'm a paid volunteer at the election office and I need to study more for a test on Monday. My heads should be done by Tuesday. This coming weekend. Engine assembly!

How come none of my friends live anywhere near campus, much rather ones with garages.
If i perform maintenance on my car in the parking lot of my apt building its a violation of my lease!

Crap, I've had my car up on jack stands for a month in one of my old apartments.

Update:

11/10

My Dad came in to town, first time he has come to visit me in 6 years, I'm the one who goes to see him. So that was a nice surprise.

Also picked up the heads from the machine shop, nice and clean with a valve job.

Also, my Dad is in town, we have to play with the helicopter.

11/11

Getting the block up on the stand.

Had to paint it red., that is worth at least 20bhp. haha

One last look at the Ross pistons.

11/11/ continued

Jeremy looking over the block.

Don't mess with an evil man while he is torquing down an intake manifold.

My Dad doing a little Dance.

All installed, torqued down with '99 lifters.

My Dad and Jeremy's Dad, it is a shame that the whole pretty shiny side will soon be covered up.

Cam Gear spacers FTW!!

I swear my car is usually clean......well, it used to be a few months ago.

11/12

Chase being the electrical guru, he wired in my new front 02 sensor to the ECU and made an extension for the rear from the stock n/a harness.

My Dad is in the background cleaning the 2nd gen TT oilpan. It is now red to match the block.

The stock exhaust manifolds do look ugly on my pretty engine.

Chase went a little crazy twords the end of his electrical project. I had to take away the scissors before my harness was toast. I lost a pinky, but it was well worth it IMO.

Now, what is this, why, it is really starting to look like a full longblock again.

My Dad detailing the engine bay, now next time I go to visit him I have to detail his Z06. Not to bad though, I'll just have "air dry" it.

ANd this is now how everything sits. Unfortunetly I cannot work on her this coming weekend, I need to work on school projects. But I will be able to devote a large chunk of Thanksgiving break to her.

Thanks again to Chase, Mo, Jeremy, and my Dad for all their help this weekend. Though, I really need someone there to take pics, I've noticed that I am lacking from the pictures of car build.

Good pics and looks like fun . The block is so damn small, i was surprised when i had one out. These cars are all in the heads.

Looks like you are getting really close . Boost is awesome, you'll be happy with the results. I'm already feeling the need for more boost but have to depend on the DD aspect till college is done. Ah well.
