I did the same thing with my FWDTT when it was first completed. lol.. took her on some HUGE journeys.

Last year i was at a Tampa Gathering and my clutch spring blew out and locked my clutch and pressure plate together. Thankfully I had Chask and his friend sebastian with me. We have pulled trannys many times before. At Marshall 99vr4's house, he had an extra OEM clutch with 50k miles on it and a spare TOB, I had all my tools with me. We pulled the tranny in 1.5 hours and reinstalled it in 3 hours. I was back on the road sunday and drove 500 miles home. Thank god it was a 3 day meet.

When my car was FWDTT, I drove my car from philly to daytona beach and back; TWICE. That's about ~4000 miles alone!

Good times going 140mph for 30 minutes in South Carolina

Well, I finally stopped babying her. Boost is still at 6psi, I'm not going to change that until I switch over to synthetic.

But I finally got 1K miles of trouble free on her. That was my rule, play it slow until I have my bugs ironed out. (she has just over 5K on the new engine)

I did a 3rd gear pull from 3K RPMs..... WOW!!!!!

I love my car.

Things are going alright. I've been jobless longer than I thought I would be after graduating. I turned down a guranteed job in Florida to stay in Texas, now in Texas so far I've had two jobs that were pulled by the hire ups.

Meaning, I had interviews, I got the job, but then hire up in the food chain a bean counter decided to X the job to save money. Happening once, okay, twice. WTF!?

So I have a position pending right now, interview went great, just waiting to hear back. On Monday I'm going the Art Squad (A creative head hunter agency in dfw, Austin, and Houston) with my portfolio and see where that takes me.

So, life is good, but in a stressful state. But nothing bad, and nothing that wont be settled in a couple of weeks.
