Default I guess my sohc can handle 10lbs of boost

Well my car was finally getting tuned today after the new turbo got installed (the last one crapped out on the dyno). They said it went well until around 4500 rpms I guess the boost was creepin up to 10lbs and they didnt want to take any further, but I guess the car handled it. My wastegate that I bought used supposedly had a 8lb spring, but I guess not. So I just ordered a 6lb spring and I get to wait for yet another part to arrive before I get my car back, Its killin me my car has been at esp since mid april

Properly tuned it should be able to handle 10 without any issues. Let us know how your dyno #'s turn out.

How do you have your wastegate designed? If its not able to move enough exhaust then it wont matter what spring you use.
Do you have a tiny turbo on there?
