The way I see it, if it was absolutely imperative that each bank see exactly the same amount of pressure/flow, then mitsu wouldn't have stuck a turd-shaped manifold in the front. We would end up with two near identical manifolds that would allow both banks to flow evenly. Keep in mind that the precats are different as well - I suspect the rear one has better flow. Based on how the exhast was engineered, I am going to assume that subtle differences between each bank probably won't spell disaster.

Big differences on the other hand...

DR650s do not spool like 13Ts. If I had two DR650s I know it would be laggier than my 13Gs. I now have a combo of the lag with more top end.

I also have probably $400-450 in both turbos combined. I really don't know how you can beat that for a combination that should hold 20 PSI (or close) to redline.
If you can find turbos that cheap, then you might as well run them. Since they are both TD04 based housings, I don't think there is a big enough difference to cause significant pressure difference between banks (assuming they are both within their efficiency range). Now if one was a TD05 or T4 turbo... that would give me cause for concern.

174k on matching turbos. Suck it.
