no reason to rebuild the motor really.

Not until you try to run too much boost and it goes boom

I'm still using my NA catback exhaust (on the street). At the track I just remove my testpipe.

Ya I'm starting to think that. My car doesn't seem noticable faster between running with the NA exhaust or running my downpipe only, which is an aftermarket one.

Makes some people with $1500 catbacks look like suckers.. but I sure as hell wouldn't pay that much for an exhaust which is basically piping when it's almost as much as complete replacement motor would cost.

Chris, I use a rebuilt TT engine in the swap. The price is for a true TT swap with TT engine. I can also do the swap on a stock N/A engine without any rebuild for much cheaper.

that's what i was saying
didn't want you to scare anyone away with that price, meaning they could have you do it for MUCH cheaper using thier NA motor not that your price WITH motor is high, cause it aint

Hey Hans, do you travel? Just wondering because the main thing keeping me from doing the conversion is a lack of local people to help and/or do it for a reasonable price.
