I can't wait to test that theory out with poly mounts. My wheelhop was SOOO bad last summer. I was shocked I never broke anything. I've also noticed that my rubber mounts that looked fine right after the TT engine swap now have tears in two of the mounts.

yea, they can handle alot inless your are blessed with the ability to blow them up with an LSD and solid mounts like i am... twice..

it's still a mystery why some do and some don't

On slicks I have run the world trap and ETtime and time again. And it still shift like butter. over 50 hard track launches. Not that i won't eventually kill it.

Maybe people with LSDs aren't shimming it correctly when installing it?

I have not opened the tranny since the last time I put her together and since it aint broke I aint touching it. I am afraid it's put together JUST RIGHT and if I crack her open I will put something out of place enough to give me problems. It's been good to me so I will pop her back on (motor is now rebuilt) and go for it.

this may be a little off topic, but this confuses me.. where does this metal come from when there is only one midly chiped tooth and everything else is flawless. also what happened here (thats right where the diff sits)

watch out folks

two days ago I cranked over SLTT's new motor I built two weeks ago. 8:1 TT pistons, Forged crank. All new rings and rod and main bearings, rebuilt the oil pump. Started right up. Purring like a kitten, well, as well as a kitten would pur without any manifolds on it.

I am rebuilding the 14b/Bullseye 7cm2 turbos today, almost done the first one.
