so basically the only thing thats coming from eliminating it is the cel light. ive heard some cars run better with it deleted. is that true?

so whether mines fucked up or i delete the prick its not gonna make a diff w/ the cel at all.. and its not gonna make any significant diff in anything else? so basically f it? haha

I would still find out what's wrong with it. If it is bad (stuck open on idle) your idle may be rough. You may get poorer mileage with a bad EGR valve. At least when you eliminate it you know it's not causing an issue. Whatever the issue is though, it may cost just as much to fix the issue as it would to buy block off plates and get rid of it all together. At least if you fix it you don't have to stare at the ugly red light on your dash.

block off plates still wont get rid of the cel
