the air cleaner is before the turbos.

air cleaner to mas to turbos to ICs to Y pipe to TB to plenum to cylinders to exhaust manifolds back through turbos to spin then that bad ass custom exhaust I built. LOL

so you don't have a problem when the IC is disconnected and do you have a pic of the setup with out the IC hooked up?

I'll have to pay more attention to detail when I see your car or a VR4. I may be able to modify my setup to reflect the same (less the turbos).

This is the SC plenum without the IC pipes connected. Eaton M90 supercharger- FMIC not connected - 3000GT/Stealth International Photo Gallery

it would help if I could see it from the other side. do you have a pic from the passenger side. what route does the air take hooked up vs not hooked up?

Where are the posts about hoses crushing?

I still think you are pressurizing your IC piping and that BOV you tried was the wrong kind for a SC setup and you need to recirculate the air. Do you have evidence this is not happening?

Have you tried opening the throttle stop a little bit on the TB to see if that makes a difference. There are weird problems you can have when coming to a stop like the speed sensor not telling the AIS to open etc.

Paul and others are commenting about the silicone elbows partailly collapsing because of the vacuum. (noticable in the video). At the time Paul could not understand why my IC/piping was under vacuum. Unlike the VR4 or his TT conversion, my throttle body is located directly on the SC and before the plenum. After a lengthy conversation on the phone, Paul and I have come to the realization that the the throttle body probably needs to be relocated after the SC, probably on the plenum itself.

When stopping, there is so much vacuum in the system that by the time I come to a stop the internal pressures have not had time to stabilize. The only way I can keep it from stalling, is to slip into neutral and blip the gas.
