[quote=TransformedBG;4651459]I forgot to ask, do you have a piece by piece picture of your SC set up?

Unfortunately not. I was so anxious to get it installed (14 hours!) I did not take the time to document the assembly. Believe me, it is engrained in my head. With all I learned, I know I could do it in a third of the time, next time. The real pain was converting everything to a 6 rib drive......I AM GLAD IT IS OVER! With that said, only now is it worth it ha!

Hey Peeps, I am still in investigative mode. As suggested, I am considering the BOV option to remedy my stalling situation. Respective to my ignorance regarding turbo systems, I am not familar with BOV's. My M90 Eaton SC has an internal check valve to release excessive boost but the BOV adder my be worth investing.

What brand and type should I purchase......open or closed?

I'll purchase the following to connect the BOV to my IC piping.....assuming it would go after the IC, not before.

I belive you want an open.. but im not a 100% sure about it. If i remember a closed BOV loops back into the turbo or something. But i could be wrong lol

It all depends on where your mas is located.

You can run open all day long as long as your BOV is located before your MAS(MAF) if your BOV is located after your BOV you will have to add a little fuel at throttle off to keep from stalling while running open.

Hey John,

Your statement makes all the sense in the world and validates that a BOV (open or closed loop) would not solve my stalling issue when the IC is connected. I was suspect of the concept anyway because the Eaton SC already has an internal relieve valve which accomplishes the same thing.

I probably need to just remove the GM MAF, and plug in my AFC NEO (I have it installed already)as one of it's features is programing out decrepancies with the intake air pressure. I just need to find someone who knows how to program the stupid thing. Electronics is not my bag. Unfortunately, there are very few tuner shops in the Knoxville area, none that are familiar with 3kgt.

I just thought of something else.... do you run a MAF? or a MAP sensor?

Hey Glen,

I replaced the OEM MAF (which is behind the air filter and before the SC) with a 3 1/2" diameter, GM MAF (hot wire) I believe it is the same used on the L82 Corvette. Of course, I have the programable convertor also. The setup works great.

I do have a AFC NEO installed but not connected (it would replace the MAF completely) When it comes to electronic programming, I am an idiot. I was able to make the basic settings like # cylinders, engine size, injector size, etc. but that was about it.

Why, have you come up with something Glen?

Well i was just thinking about an issue i had with my MAP sensor on my civic.. Basically i was seeing boost and my car was cutting out. I was just wondering if your car could do something like that... not exactly sure how a MAF is compared to a MAP
