I talked with a friend of mine (Glen) who knows a thing or two about superchargers.

From what I told him he is thinking that you may actually be getting a lean cut and that is why the car is stalling.

When you let off the gas there is an abundant amount of air in the FMIC which is leaning out the engine to much.

He suggesting adding a blow off valve, or increasing fuel at idle.

If you want him AIM is: TransformedBG
He is on regularly so you should be able to get a hold of him, he was asking me questions about your set up last ngiht that I had no idea.

Good luck.

Hey John, thanks for the input. Your description of my situation is very plausible. I have not tried enriching the idle fuel mixture but that concept may work as also think it is running lean when I let of the gas. In fact, I know it is, because when I do let off the gas, my A/F mixture guage pegs out on the lean side. It is a digital gauge and it literally pegs out. You may want to ask John to take a look at the photos I have posted as under one of them (full shot of the car with the hood raised), I have a complete listing of my mods. That will give him an exact concept of my setup. If you guys come up with anything else, let me know.

I'll need to let the weather warm up so I can reconnect the IC piping to the SC, so it may be a couple of weeks before I can test your theory.

Thanks for taking the time to help.

Yeah john talked to me.. im not on here much but direct email or aim is good...

But yeah i was thinking all this because you said its after you added the IC... If you think about it, you have a roots style SC and it pushes air to the IC, so you build up all this boost and you abruptly kill the throttle so the air has no where to go but in the motor. More air + Less fuel = Lean condition which you would see on you AF gauge. So my solution *the more efficient one* would be to add a Blow off valve of some sort, so when you kill the throttle you could blow bypass the SC and go back to NA mode.

it was some quick thinking, there maybe something else im over looking but none the less those are my 2 solutions.. More fuel or blow off.

That is a good looking install. I never thought of modding the intake runners like that...I've been looking at my Grand Prix GT and the Eaton MkV on it...just wishing I could bolt one on my stealth. Anything I could think of would have pushed it through the hood, and would leave me with no way to IC it...I'm looking at a water or nitrous setup to cool off the GT...damn heatsoak.

I am fortunate that there are a few peeps wanting to help diagnose my situation as I can't find anyone that has my setup.

I forgot to ask, do you have a piece by piece picture of your SC set up? ie kind of like my car domain: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/763684

Yeah it has a ton of pics, but i did that cause i was in the same boat as you sort of lol... I the first to put a SC on a k20a (Type R motor, 11:5:1 compression) and i had to R&D a lot of stuff to get it to actually function correctly. PAIN IN MY ASK! But I emailed you back.
