Default Auto Trans?

i have the motor from a 1st gen 3000GT VR-4 ready to put into my SL! I plan on making it FWD. Will the motor work w/ the stock SL 4spd Automatic Trans? If not, what do i need to do in order for it to work? Thanks

Yes, the transmission will bolt up to the motor. Your ATX will help fight wheel spin from a standstill. I'd recommend investing in a LSD and some motor mounts!

Keep us updated on your project.

I believe you have to wire up the tt ecu with the TCU, the transmission computer or something along those lines, Id suggest an lsd also and a shift kit and trans cooler, and a longer 4th gear if your going all out.
