Hey are any of you FWD-TT converted guys running 12's or lower if so at what power levels and weight as well as supporting mods?

That is basically it. Traction is the real problem. you should be able to slap on 9b or 13G and run 12s (of course with the supporting mods). FWD models are lighter than the AWD so you have the advantage there.
But you will want to run slicks or similar.

traction and tranny reliability are our biggest enemys.
We have the power, but the problems are that were too heavy and big to be FWD. the car has to spin off the line.

Look at it like the DSM guys are. Take a GSX and a GST and put the same mods on them. The GSX will be a full second quicker because of traction. This is the same issue with FWD TT guys here. There are very few even in the 12's.

can someone else validate this? if with 9bs i could run 12's (with traction ofcourse)

you would have to cut a 1.6 or 1.7 60' to run a 12 with a 5 speed.
I predict jomojr will run 12's the next time he goes to the track with the ATX. He run a 13.2 with 9b's and a 2.1 60'. Now he has dr650's and we will throw on some DOT slicks. oh and T2 has a traction bar on the back. It does help a lot but still does not provide anywhere near as much traction as an AWD car.
