ok so now the sprocket is off along with the oil pump and then...

ANOTHER PROBLEM

below you will see a picture of the oil pump that i got for MY car.
the thing is way off is wider than my oil pan and the thing just doesnt fit.

so now i have to wait for another oil pump.

Damn that sucks. Where did you order your oil pump from? Did they ask you for the vin/year of your engine?

Yes I told them 92 SL and even the vin. So I don't know what happen. That's one of my problems I trust people too much.

New Update Bump

Update: lifter have been changed, manifolds and turbos have been mounted, fuel pump has been installed, gas tank has been expanded, sub frame has been cleaned (old oil and junk), all a/c lines and components have been removed, in the middle of removing my cruise control, removed all the brackets and extra tensioner that the a/c required, removed oil pump, got a new flywheel because mine was cracked, etc...

I will try to post pictures tomorrow.

i dont know but the shop told me that in 1992 the n/a oil pump had a split in the middle of the year so they had 2 different oil pump, and the tt had 3 different pumps that year. so basically what they told me is that i got a 20% chance of getting the pump that i needed. and i DIDNT. so they will ship another one tomorrow.

another update

:

i decided to open the bag where i got my 360cc injectors and to my sorprise i saw that on 3 of the the connectors where still on them so i didnt think anything of it. so when i went to take them off i couldnt because they guy that sold them to me had put glue in the connector to keep them from coming off. so apperantly he did it right because those thing are stuck on and i cant use the injectors. he even cut the wires so short that i cant even splice them to my harness.

so now i got 450cc in the mail yesterday
