Doh! Hope you get a refund, i know how much of a pain in the ass it can be

I gave him until Monday afternoon to refund my money. I have already found another ECU, just waiting for my money to get back to me.

I'm still trying to find an ECU bro. Since two days ago I blew the motor. I will be rebuilding it soon and have it going in about a month. HOPEFULLY someone will come off their ECU so I can throw it in there after the rebuild.

I'm in the process of my rebuild. Everything is in pieces at the moment. I should be done within the next couple weeks once I receive all my parts. I haven't thrown up any Wtd posts but I've been looking through all the FS threads and found nothing in my price range. I will even spring for a JDM ECU.

alright. i'll prolly get my TT conv started in 1.5-2 weeks with the 92 VR4 ecu, so i'll let you know. I plan on getting an aftermarket fan controller then wiring in an o2 sensor. As far as the CAS timing, im just going to let it pull the 4 degrees at 7000 rpms or whatever, not sure if its worth the hassle of re-wiring.

If that is true about pulling timing, I wouldn't worry about re-wiring it. Hook up a datalogger and check it out. If you run into any snags with your conversion let me know, maybe I can help.

Finally after all the shit I ran into and a complete rebuild later, I have my TT ECU in my car. I can say a few things now.

1) The car runs ten times better than before. No more wasting gas.
2) Radiator fan does not work. For some reason it was working with the 93 ECU in there but not the 91.
3) Only one o2 is hooked up and no problems yet. No CEL, nothing.
4) I hotwired the datalogger port in the ECU. I tapped three wires and it works like a champ. (Always spring the extra cash for an OEM connector, much more convienient).

So far thats it. I just swapped out ECU's and it seems to be running fine. I'll splice my rear o2 sensor with the ECU so it thinks I have 2 sensors hooked up and see if anything is different.

Nick
