You can add it to a NA setup. You would use our VC-MAF controller. Injection is based on engine load so not spraying all the time. Fuel savings would be in open loop mode of ECU operation. You can remove about 10% of the fuel with W/M on an NA engine.

Sorry, I am still learning. So adding the VC-MAF, along with the rest of the system, would add 2-3 more mpg? Although Im not worried about horses just yet, would there be a significant increase there as well? Basically would it be worth the cost in an everyday driver? And I drive about 2 hours a day back and forth to work, so the miles and gallons add up quick.

Obviously asking the vendor isnt the brightest idea for an unbiased opinion on a product, but this is my first car worth doing upgrades to, so I want to get all the help I can.

I will post a straight answer, if I don't, someone on this forum will jump in and raise the flag

The systems are designed to inject based on engine load, in a 2hr drive on the highway, you will be at light load while cruising and see little or no injection. Your ECU would be in closed loop mode most of the time.

When the ECU is in open loop mode, that is when injection will normally happen. On a '06 NA Mustang using our system, gain was about 20awhp.

So fuel savings would not be across the board with the current systems available, only during injection under load.

Ah, so its not gonna be active revving at 2-3 grand, so no savings in gas. Well, it was worth a shot. I might think about it in the future when I start opening the car up more.

Thanks again!

Thanks for your interest. With the way gas prices going, will have to work out a fuel saving method just to save my own wallet.

Best regards,

Dan

Yes, you do not want to use any products that contain glycol for meth injection. The glycol will result in a build up in the engine over time and most have anticorrosion additives that are bad for O2 sensors.
