This is only for 98-99 right now. 97 is truly the bastard ECU of the bunch.
This programming IS possible, but the problem is only two or three people here have the OpenPort 2 adapter that you need to do it. (OpenPort 1.x WILL NOT work)
Some of the work is done, but a lot more remains. Right now I'd compare it to the functions of an S-AFC, but without the drawbacks (error codes, advanced timing, etc) There's a LOT of work left to be done to have the really cool stuff like 2-step launch and speed density.
As of right now, I'm not going to be the guy to do it. Other people need to step up and take an ACTIVE role in this.

What help do you need? Give me specifics and I can try to help.
I need to get my partial definition file out there. Then you guys can download ECU Flash and see what's available. The software is free.
What we really need right now is for a couple of people to just get the hardware, load it up, and start playing with it.
Right now, I'd put the state of development somewhere near what an Emanage Ultimate gives you. You can adjust the fuel tables, injector sizing, timing, rev limit, MAF sizing (no hotwire MAFs though) and a couple other things.
If you guys want more than that, then we need someone to start disassembling the code. Our stuff has a lot in common with the 98-99 DSM, Evo 5, 6 and 6.5, and the 2000 Eclipse.
There's probably a lot of stuff out there already, but I have been so consumed with my own car, I haven't looked into any of it.
If anyone is within a few hours of Kansas City, I'll be happy to meet up with you and make any changes you like to your car.

So are you saying 98/99s can install larger injectors and be able to tune with them? For example 550cc with 15g/19t setups?
