One thing I'm curious about... Meth eats aluminum and our IC's are aluminum. Is this a reason to be concerned? Or is this risk, pretty much neglible so long as the meth is mixed with H20?

Well if u guys concerned about corrotion and are willing to use a secondar meth injection kit , why not just do a 30meth/70water mix u want to cool things off at the turbos anyway...

U can buy the pumps from shurflo and make your own kit http://www.shurflo.com/pages/home.html

I think meths problem is when it sits.

Your intake manifold is aluminum and big block motors that run 100% meth all have aluminum intakes for their carbs.

It also eats fuel lines because it absorbs water and rusts things out.

Default Re: Pre Turbo Methanol injection.

I got 1/2 way through making the jet adapters and figured they`d be too restictive in front of the 9b`s inlet,.

I went to plan B which was injecting after the MAF using a T in the bubble with 2 0.3mm jets (90cc/min to each turbo). I used 70% meth solution. This made little difference to the 6500 rpm WOT boost reading on the datalogger.

I then went to a 1mm jet each side of the T (500cc/min to each turbo) as these were what I had lying around and probably got a 1psi increase in boost at 6500rpm WOT. I deemed this of too little benefit to warrant any turbo blade pitting so removed the pre turbo jets.

Just after this I got a miracle buy on Ebay, 2 13G`s for £100 (approx $200), I`ve fitted the front and planning to do the back one soon. If these get close to 18psi at redline I`ll be happy enough at that for a while.

I think if you could make a system up to spray into the compressor point blank without restricting air flow you would see better gains, but the 9b intake is that small it would be difficult.
