I got my cable used from someone in the evo club who was parting out. Maybe it's my tactrix cable? Can anyone post up what the pins look like on your functional cable for the 94/95 hybrids? I don't have a pin for every opening so I wonder if it's not the correct cable....

EDIT: I know the cable works. It works fine for logging AND flashing on my evo. I've used it many times. Just doesn't work with the VR4. Even with the hybrid option selected.

What version are you trying? V2.3b2 actually fixed a lot of things for me.

I've got the original software (2.0?) and never went to 2.1, 2.2 cause alot of you said it was no good. Now I see 2.3 is out. Should I go with that or just stick with the original. I will do my tuning once I get to TN but I want to make sure I have the right stuff.

Like I said V2.3b2 fixed a bunch of issues for me, so I can only imagine its a more solid release than 2.0 and others.

Interesting ... now that I have it in front of me, mine says v2.3 beta3.

I'm going to try connecting tomorrow with my ElmScan cable and will report back.

Actually, there is no official 2.3 release now that I'm aware of. It's still all in the beta testing phase. I didn't have any issues with 2.1 or 2.2 on my evo.

It's the first version to work with my '96 so yes, it should work with your '95. It seems the sample rate is slower but it does work.
