The flash cable has two plugs, one the 16 pin OBD-II plug, and the other is the 12 pin MUT plug. They both have to be plugged in. The single wire remaining when activated, instructs the computer to listen for commands on the data bus, and the data bus is accessible by the OBD-II port.

Thanks 3G.
I'll leave the concept to modify/adapt R-VIT iColor so I can get data (up to 29 values) from ECU. It is quite clear that Mitsu has/had different concept.
I have decided that will take 3 signals through Blitz SBC i Color + A/F signal over special port of BC.

Please confirm importance or give your opinion:
1. A/F 2nd signal
2. Knock sensor signal
3. IPW signal

Remains additional port for fuel pressure or temperature.

Regards,

Ceki

This is gonna sound really dumb but I have a 93 VR4 and I'm getting a time put error so just to make sure I'm supposed to plug the cable into the diagnostic port on the drivers side left kick panel or do I need to get 2.0v instead of 2.1v which I'm running right now?

Also, don't know if it matters but both cars, annoyingly, are Cali-spec. Didn't see anything about cali and fed spec in the thread so im just throwing it out there.
