Sorry to hijack this thread, but would anyone be willing to share their rom files? I am working on trying to "hack" the vr4 rom to be applied to a 3rd Generation Eclipse. I am aware that the code is different due to different processors, but the data is still transposable. Thank you for helping.

Did you ever find version 2.0 of EVOScan? Version 2.1 is pretty much garbage and doesn't work at all...... if you need version 2.0 just hit me up with your email and I'll send it to you

If you're looking for modded rom files there aren't any for the VR-4. Only 98/99 models can be written, but noone has done anything with them. As soon as I get some kinks worked out of my 98 I'm going to try and mess around with the factory ROM. I can provide you with the factory flash once I start messing with it if you'd like that........

So, will this product work properly for a 95 Hybrid ECU (specifically my 95 Stealth TT)? It seems like it will and is the correct cable the "16pin SSMII/MUTII/OBDII+12pin Evo Reflash Connector"? It looks like a very impressive tool!
Thanks you.

Have '98-VR European version. Produced in 11/12 month in 1997. Is it OBDII compatible?

That would be perfect. What I am interested in is just the stock tune. Thank you!

The single terminal is the connection that is to be connected to the flash cable to allow firmware to be downloaded from or uploaded to the ecu. My Eclipse has the exact same connector.

Thanks 3G.

Does it mean that that flash cable has to connected to 7th pin of (OBD2) connector?
