Just got my cable in the mail and I'm having trouble connecting to both of my cars! =/ It keeps timing out and asking me to turn off/on the car. Is there something I'm forgetting that's causing this? It seems as though people have had success on both '94's and '97's so I'm thinking it's something I'm doing wrong and not the program.
![]() Also, don't know if it matters but both cars, annoyingly, are Cali-spec. Didn't see anything about cali and fed spec in the thread so im just throwing it out there. Last edited by Schank : 12-27-2007 at 12:46 PM. |

That's the same problem I have with my '96 the MUT II related so I wonder if Cali Spec makes a difference also. I know other 97's are working fine with this software.
I will try to confirm this with the developer as soon as I can.

Short answer is yes. Any ECU 94+ should be able to run the software, and plenty of people have used it with success. However, I have both a '94 and a '97, neither of which seem to be able to run the software. I was hoping to get some feedback from people who have successfully run the software but nobody seems to be replying to this thread anymore. If anyone reads this and you have this software post or PM me if you're Fed-spec or Cali-spec. I'm pretty sure they are different ECUs and both of my vehicles are Cali-spec so I'm hoping that's the problem and an update will come out for this soon. |
