I should have my zeitronix's hooked up real soon and then I'll be able to log wideband/boost/egt.

Funny but while sitting at a traffic light waiting to turn so I can get my car inspected my check engine light comes on damn P505 code) So I quickly connect my other logger and clear the code and then pull into the inspection station and get the car emission inspected. PASSED........lol
Um, where do I get what you have, I need to take my car in for emmissions and would like to clear my CEL from running no cats.

The Evoscan screenshot says MDP after boost, I believe 4G63 engines have a Manifold Differential Pressure sensor.
I guess our ECU uses the same channel to show some different value since our engine doesn't have that sensor. Engine load maybe?

You should really get an O2 sim and get rid of that CEL. I have one on my and I have installed a couple of resistors to get rid of the secondary O2 sensors altogether. So I have no cats and no secondary O2 sensors and NO CEL .

1996 and above have Manifold differential Pressure sensors that sit on the back of the plenum at the top right near the throttle cable.

I can check that easy enough if it works for '96+

Wait, excuse my ignorance, but does this mean that it MAY be possible to measure boost?

Yeah the O2 sims only simulate the signal to the ECU. For some reason you still get a CEL for the heater circuit.

What you need to do is get two 82ohm 5watt resistors and simulate heater for each sensor with them. You cut out the sensors and use the connectors and wiring.

There are four wires on the connector. Heater +12V, Heater ground, Signal and Signal ground.

The resistor is wired between heater +12V and heater ground on each O2 sensor connector. For the O2 sim, I followed the instructions but I remember one of the +12 V heater wires was shared by one resistor and the power wire of the O2 sim.

Here are two links that I found very useful when I did this:
o2 simulator question
http://spdweb.net/index.php?option=c...d=13&Itemid=41

I have done this more than a year and a half ago and haven't gotten a CEL since then. If you are having any trouble I can check how I exactly wired everything next time I put my car on the lift (It's allright, I figure that the electrical tape that wraps everything would need to be changed anyways after all this time).
