Question!
Why is so important to clear the SRS? Now please be kind here, because data logging is new to me, but what makes this better than the HHH unit and will this only would on a lap top or will it indeed work on a hand held device? |

The SRS light means there is a airbag system error. The most common error is that the air bag system saw a very low power voltage. This is usually caused by battery going dead with ignition key on, like playing your radio unhtil battery dies. This is no big deal your airbag will work fine. But if anything else is wrong your airbag might not work when it could be needed to save your life. The only way to know for sure is spend $3000 on a MUT II or pay the dealer $100 just to hook one up to your car for 2 minutes.

John - I had a local service station clear my SRS light a couple of years back. I'm sure they used some generic odbII scanner. They didn't charge me anything and it was done in seconds.
