Interesting. I'm able to get my idle to cycle starting at -6, and nice and smooth at -3.

before taking out the honeycombs it was +7 or so... weird how much our cars can differ. I did the Erik Gross hotwire mod which is the only reason I would think it might be different... that mod keeps a lower voltage to the fuel pump @ idle.

Default Hmm

I paid to have my car dyno tuned... i got 360 awhp @ 12-14psi. It maid more but was to lean & egt's were getting to hot. Anyways if I tried this mod, is there a way to tune it without a dyno. I have an EGT gauge but I have an autometer A/F gauge. (I know rick, i gotta get the dawgs one). Any suggestions?

I am still driving around with my gutted MAF, doing good. Still runs the same as always, and high and low trims are both 102, and 108. Spanked a 5.slow last night, no problems. Still a little lean at the top of 3rd, but thats just because I haven't tuned it yet.

Drop a little achahol onto the sides from the top. I did that, let it sit for a min, and it helped alot. They are not glued in, its only a sticky rubber substance.

damn finally got them out.... dude, i ASSURE you, it is glue... nothing sticky about it, just pure glue, i got plenty of glue residue left....

i really hope this mod works cuz otherwise i have no way of turning back (broke the 2 honeycombs on the sides)
