For me to do something like that to my car, my justification needs to be stronger than "oh, this guy on 3SI said it works wonders." I need more than that

Ya know Shawn, you sorta are being a pain in the ass , and I think you definately shouldn't try it, so you won't benefit from what I've done. You've got stock turbos, so your car will never need the extra air this mod will give you anyway. Unless you have 550cc injectors and too much timing advance,( and if you do) , you wasted your money by putting the cart before the horse.

As I said, 1000 dollars to any 15’g VR4 without NOS that wants to rolling start race me. The track isn't my strong suit, so posting a 1/4 mile time is too inconsistent for me to back my claims. Besides, I have vowed never to bring my car to the valley again and slowly destroy in make it loose and rattley by launching it like an idiot. I have a 1/2 mile smooth street that I can race on without worring about the police, as long as it's after midnight.

WTF are you talking about!? How am I being a pain in the ass? You spend HOW much $$ getting tuned and you can't post a dyno sheet. AM I THE ONLY PERSON IN THIS THREAD THAT ASKS FOR IT!? I been asking about this for a while and trying to get more info.

I have no idea where this anger is coming from. I simply asked for a sheet along with others to see the before and after and to just see the general affects of this mod. Why is that so hard to find?

Maybe, you should be convincing others because they think your false here.

I am definately not angry sir. Nor am I selling anything either, where I have the need to substantiate any claims. Try it or not, it's up to you.

As for proof, I have nothing to prove. I'm 36 years old, and I'm done playing these games at this stage in my life. Ask AllEyesOnMyVR4 is his car is faster.

BTW, since I have a shop, I spent nothing getting my car tuned or dynoed (proffessional courtesy) . I did it myself. I just paid for parts, and not very much for them either

Whether or not another car is faster is irrelevant. Of course, any VR-4/TT with upgraded turbos/fuel is going to be faster, even if you tuned it.

If you don't want to backup your claims, that's your business. I simply asked for a dyno sheet. You didn't have to be rude about it or say I am being a pain in the ass for asking something so obvious it isn't funny.

"Hey everyone, I got like 50AWD HP from doing this mod on the dyno".

Kill me for asking for a dyno sheet? Please.

If anyone wants to do this mod, that's their business, I just wanted some more info before doing it myself.

Shawn, I don't have a dyno sheet, because I didn't have them print one out. I never thought of it cause I didn't need one. I wasn't even going to post about the mod and how I got the car to run well because of 'doubting Thomas' like you.

Again, I'm not selling ANYTHING or posting this for profit (unlike the MAFt) that also has NO proof of anything.

I'm done with this up and back with you.

More timing means more power to a point. Then you start detonating, or start needing to run too rich.

Wow, this mod is a VERY interesting concept. I have a log here that I got this morning, showing my 02's BOTH at .94 running fine until about 5k, where I get knock until redline. Now, I was thinking it was from the stock turbos heating up, now I'm not so sure. My timing at WOT is 25-28, and at 5k it goes to 33, and thats RIGHT where the knock starts. I can post pics if ppl want to see. You can see where the timing ramps up where I have the AFC set to -37, and then starts the knock at .94-.96 02's.

I have a spare MAF, I'm going to try this. I had a VPC before, and know what kind of spool/power difference comes with removing the MAF.

Innovator, I'm going to try this, and post before/after logs. If I can get it to run right. I'll keep you posted!
